a lot, a lot of 和 lots of的用法
a lot “很多；非常”，表示程度，后面不接名词。
a lot of 和 lots of 都意为“许多、大量”，二者可以互换，用法相同，既可以修饰可数名词复数，也可以修饰不可数名词。
从词性上来说：
a lot相当于副词，约等于very much或very或so much
She loves him a lot.
Houses are a lot more expensive here.
You helped me a lot.
