箕踞长松下，横眠老竹根。

钱钟书（1910-1998），字默存，江苏无锡人，曾任清华大学外语系教授、中国社会科学院副院长等职。著有《谈艺录》《围城》等。

QIAN Zhongshu (1910-1998), styled Still Body & Wandering Soul, born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. He worked as a professor of the Foreign Languages Department, Tsinghua University, and a vice president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. A Lodge in the Mountain

Neath the tall pine I sit on knees,

Or by the bamboo root I snore.

A twig I can still beg to hold,

But the three paths exist no more.

The old woods oft occur to me;

To the small park I write a verse.

A zephyr blows out of the waves,

As does sway and my cares disperse.
